                       Field Training Officer Update Course     

 Provides continuing education for officers who have completed a basic Field.  Training Officer course and are currently serving as FTOs. The course reinforces core responsibilities, introduces updated training and evaluation  strategies, and keeps officers current with legal requirements, departmental standards, and best practices in mentoring probationary officers.                                                                        

         Legal and Operational Concepts for DUI Checkpoints       

This course provides practical guidance on how to legally                                    and effectively operate a DUI checkpoint, with a focus on                                       constitutional compliance, officer safety, and operational efficiency.                                         

                          Sexual Abuse Investigator Course               

Students will examine the hyper-sexualization of modern culture and its impact on victimization and societal attitudes; understand the the  neurobiology of trauma and how it affects victim behavior,                              memory, and disclosure, and identify methods for conducting trauma-                 info informed interviews with victims and witnesses.
